Course Info:

Course Introduction

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows 7. Student will learn how to identify and resolve Windows 7 application issues, network connectivity issues, troubleshoot logon and resource access and encryption issues, as well as protect Windows 7 against malware and vulnerabilities.

Course Prerequisites

Experience in the IT field, including implementing and administering any Windows client operating system in a networked environment.

Course Notes

A Student Textbook is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate. Due to the dynamic nature of the IT industry, job success mandates that an individual not only learns the theory, but also obtains the skill to locate resources that provide answers and help to solve problems on the job. We encourage our students to develop research and study skills that will help them to make the transition from the classroom to the work environment.
