Business Administration Diploma

The Business Administration Diploma is designed to prepare students for the demands of today’s fast-paced business environment. Its objective is to expose students to a vast array of business knowledge, management and administration skills, and practical tools that will assist them in dealing with situations within a business-related career. Courses focus on professional skills required by today’s employers, including knowledge of how businesses utilise technology, e-commerce, business correspondence, office procedures, project management, and employment success strategies.

Home Inspection

The Home Inspection certificate is designed to introduce students to a vast array of practical and technical skills and tools and prepare them for a career in the home inspection industry. This program provides training aligned with the professional standards of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI) and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).

  • Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Students
  • Good Command of the English Language

  • Roofing Inspection, Structure Inspection, Electrical Inspection, Heating Inspection 1 and 2, Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps Inspection, Plumbing Inspection, Exterior Inspection, Interior & Insulation Inspection, Communication & Professional Practice, and Building Your Home Inspection Business.
  • This program provides the student with a range of business knowledge and skills which cross several disciplines, resulting in a well-rounded and highly skilled employee. Graduates of this program are prepared for a variety of entry-level administrative and management trainee positions in a broad range of employment settings, specializing in those areas of interest, experience, and greatest ability. Careers in accounting and finance, marketing, production, operations, human resources, and general administration are available to those students who possess the proper combination of business skills, experience, personal ability, and aptitude.

Medical Office Assistant

With the aging population, the tremendous advancements in technology, and our demand for the best quality of life, the healthcare industry is facing a growing shortage of well-trained personnel. Throughout the North American healthcare industry, there is an acute need to increase the size of the workforce and raise the skill level of that workforce. This program is designed to provide employment-ready and comprehensively trained graduates. Successful graduates will earn the Certified Medical Assisting Professional (CMAP) designation in addition to their diploma. These graduates are fully qualified to work in a hands-on administrative and clinical support capacity in the medical industry.

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older with successful completion of the Mature Student Admission Test, Wonderlic SLE with a minimum score of 18
  • Completion of Wonderlic BST with a minimum score of 18
  • Adequate level of physical health to be able to fulfill job requirements
  • Good command of the English language – both written and verbal
