Course Introduction

This course teaches students intermediate to advanced-level concepts and features of the Microsoft PowerPoint application.

In the course, students learn to insert charts, diagrams, actions buttons, and links in PowerPoint slides. They learn to incorporate video and audio files to make presentations more engaging and use slide masters to work more efficiently with presentations. Students also learn to edit pictures and use various tools to rehearse, record, and prepare a presentation for delivery. And they learn to use Backstage view to create, manage, print, share, and export files.

Students accomplish the learning objectives for each module through a series of hands-on activities, and there are frequent opportunities to practice, apply, and develop the skills covered in the course.

Course Notes

The course consists of 8 graded, end-of-module quizzes and a final exam, which consists of a practical component and an online exam.
