Managing Modern Desktops (MD-101)

Course Info:

Course Introduction

This course is designed to prepare students for the Managing Modern Desktops MD-101 certification exam. The MD-101 certification exam is the second exam towards the Microsoft 365: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification.

In this course, students obtain the skills and knowledge required to provision packages in Windows 10, use Windows Autopilot for Windows deployments, upgrade or migrate to Windows 10, deliver and service updates, use authentication techniques, and employ Co-Management. Students will also learn about conditional access policies, device profiles in Intune, user profiles and synch options, Windows Defender, Intune device enrollment, monitoring device health, deploying and updating applications, and implementing mobile applications.

Course Prerequisites

Microsoft Windows 10 (MD-100) or Microsoft Windows 10 Configuring Windows Devices, or equivalent.

Course Notes

A student manual is provided for on-going reference. The course consists of 14 graded end of-module quizzes and a final exam. Participants who are taking this individual course (not part of a program) and receive 75% or higher on their final grade will receive a certificate.
