Achēv’s Accelerating Career Advancement (ACA) program helps internationally trained professionals in Ontario overcome financial and employment barriers as they work towards continuing their careers in Canada.
The program combines career loans with one-on-one counselling, licensing and accreditation guidance, and employment support.
It is funded by the Government of Canada through the Foreign Credentials Recognition Program and delivered in partnership with Meridian Credit Union.
Eligible applicants may be able to access financial assistance and career support for the following expenses and services.
Funding for eligible tuition, training programs, books and study materials.
Financial assistance with professional licensing, accreditation and certification expenses.
Support for credential recognition costs, professional association memberships and related fees.
One-on-one career counselling, licensing guidance, employment assistance and job-search support.
