Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Student Status. Courses are open to any applicant who possesses a good command of the English language and is able to follow instruction. An admissions interview will be administered to determine if the applicant has the required interest, motivation, and entry-level skills to take this program. A candidate should hold CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification or have adequate experience working with a desktop operating system, a network operating system, and an existing network infrastructure. Full-time students must attend the required hours per week as per the course schedule and may do so at times convenient to them.
This program is designed to prepare students to write the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Windows Server 2012 certification exams. The MCSA Windows Server 2012 certification demonstrates knowledge and skills in working with Windows Server 2012. The certification validates that a candidate has the skills and knowledge necessary for implementing, managing, maintaining, and provisioning services and infrastructure in a Windows Server 2012 environment. The MCSA certification builds on a combination of prerequisite exams that will allow students to develop their technical skills and knowledge and prepare them for the role as a server administrator.
