What Is Marketing?

At its basic level, marketing is about determining the value of your product or service and communicating that information to customers. Yet a career in marketing can mean many things. According to PayScale Canada, a Marketing Coordinator earns an average salary of C$42,045 per year. The average annual total pay ranges from $32,768 to $55,193, with a maximum profit sharing from $250 to $5.068 and a maximum commission pay of $1,150.
Most of enter level marketing positions lead to more advanced jobs such as marketing manager, marketing specialist, marketing communications manager, project manager, or marketing director.
