Deciding to return to school in my forties was life altering. As my daughter was attending an Academy of Learning College campus at the time and loving it, she encouraged me to look into the Unit Clerk Program they offered. It’s something I’ll never regret!
From the first day the atmosphere captivated me. The facilitators were friendly and accommodating, the instructors phenomenal! Each student felt the warmth and sincerity that we mattered as individuals, as well as a group. The increase in self esteem was unparalleled. The fast-paced learning was ideal and promoted an amazingly thorough knowledge base for our future successes.
Unexpectedly, I suffered medical problems that necessitated my not attending for three months. Again, between the manager and the instructors they bent over backwards to find a way to allow me to rejoin with a later class at precisely the place I had left off. This is not something I would have expected from any educational facility, and it was done with such care and finesse.
Since the completion of my studies I have happily stayed in contact with fellow students, facilitators and instructors and feel I have made lifelong friends with many. I have also secured the most incredible employment. My practicum ascertained without a doubt the atmosphere in which I would be most suited, and a contact made during practicum lead me to the position of my dreams. Each day I am thrilled at the prospect of going to work, and revel that one can get paid in so many ways simply by doing what they love. I’m grateful for my AOL experience and would highly recommend it to anyone lookingfor the many rewards reaped, both during and after attending AOL.
