Academy of Learning College is a Canadian owned and registered company.
All Academy of Learning College are registered across Canada as Private Vocational Schools with the appropriate government authorities.
ATTENDANCE AND REPORTING
Most government-sponsored clients are required to attend a minimum of 25 hours of instruction each week unless authorized differently by the funding agency. Each student must sign in and out when using the college facilities. From time to time, we understand that lessons may need to be rescheduled because of illness or unexpected conflicts. Academy of Learning College can meet these challenges with flex-time, customized scheduling.
Although our approach to learning is flexible, we do enforce disciplined guidelines and parameters. We expect punctuality, consistent attendance, continuous academic progress and defined dates for the start and completion of each course.
Communication with our funding agencies is imperative, and we work to keep appropriate contacts informed as to the progress of their clients.
CONTINUOUS ENROLMENT
Students can begin their studies immediately upon approval from the appropriate funding agency. Academy of Learning College is unique in its ability to offer individual, flextime scheduling. Training can be undertaken weekdays, evenings or on weekends, to accommodate appointments, part-time jobs or other lifestyle commitments.
At Academy of Learning College, we’ve found that students learn best by doing. We show them what to do and how to do it, and then encourage them to practice until they’ve mastered each lesson. The flexibility of the system allows each student to review or repeat a module or to seek help from a facilitator, and ensures that competence is achieved in each subject area, before moving on to the next module.
COURSE FACILITATORS
Course facilitators are present at all times to support the training of the student, and to provide one-on-one facilitation where necessary. In addition to previous experience, facilitators have been intensively trained in all areas covered by Academy of Learning College courses. Résumés are available on request from individual colleges.

STUDENT/EQUIPMENT RATIO
Because all courses are designed to achieve the benefits of hands-on learning, each college is equipped with up-to-date equipment. All students have their own dedicated equipment when training at Academy of Learning College.
COURSE MATERIALS
Academy of Learning College courses are presented as complete packages with all materials included. There are no extra or hidden costs. Each student receives his or her own training manual to keep as a future reference tool.
CLIENT QUALIFICATION
Since both a working knowledge of English and a basic level of math are necessary to complete courses offered by Academy of Learning College, an assessment may be required to determine the academic suitability of the client for the program chosen.
