Course Introduction

In this course, students learn to create and format different types of charts, create name ranges and use them in formulas, and sort, filter, outline and consolidate data. They learn to work with multiple worksheets, link formulas, use functions to look up data, use IF statements, explore core concepts of PivotTables and PivotCharts, and examine various aspects of worksheet auditing and customization of Excel.

Students accomplish the learning objectives for each module through a series of hands-on activities, and there are frequent opportunities to practice, apply, and develop the skills covered in the course.

Course Prerequisite

Microsoft Excel Level 1.

Course Notes

The course consists of 10 graded, end-of-module quizzes and a final exam, which consists of practical and online test components.

The course includes a digital Student Reference Guide and Let Me Try workbook. Printed versions of these may be purchased separately.
