Course Introduction

In this course, students explore how to use Adobe Flash, the industry-standard vector-based tool that can create everything from simple animations, to entire Web sites and even sleek video interfaces. Students develop a deep understanding for basic drawing and animating tools in Flash, mastering such critical elements as layers, symbols, and tweens. Students build interactivity into their own designs using advances animation techniques, 3D rotation, navigation buttons, video, and even basic ActionScript. This course will challenge students to create exciting projects including social game art, an animated advertisement, an animated character, a video gallery, and more.

There are no prerequisites for this course.

Course Notes

A Student Guide is provided for this course. Evaluation is based solely on an Academy of Learning Career College final exam. Prior to taking the final exam, students must successfully complete all the components of the online course material. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate.
