Configuring Applications Infrastructure (SSMS643) Course Introduction
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to configure application infrastructure on Windows Server 2008 environment. It focuses on configuring a Terminal Services (TS), a Web Services, a Windows Server Hyper-V and Virtual machines, managing an Internet Information Services (IIS) in Windows Server 2008.
Course Prerequisites
Students should have successfully completed the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Configuring Active Directory (SSMS640) and Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Configuring Network Infrastructure (SSMS642) courses or passed the Microsoft 70-640: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring, and Microsoft 70-642: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuring certification exams.

Course Notes
A Student Textbook is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate. Due to the dynamic nature of the IT industry, job success mandates that an individual not only learns the theory, but also obtains the skill to locate resources that provide answers and help to solve problems on the job. We encourage our students to develop research and study skills that will help them to make the transition from the classroom to the work environment.
