Photoshop Basics Course Introduction
Adobe Photoshop is the premiere image manipulation tool for print design, Web design, and photography.
In this course, students learn the basics of the Photoshop interface and get working on hands-on projects based on real-world design scenarios. Students learn to choose and use the best tools for common Photoshop jobs including silhouetting, exposure correction, retouching, layering, setting typography, and creating image composites. In this course, students learn how to make high-quality selections and edits, and develop an efficient imaging workflow.

Evaluation is based solely on an Academy of Learning College final exam. Prior to taking the final exam, students must successfully complete all the components of the online course material. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate.
