This course is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of network security, how it relates to other areas of information technology, and to help prepare for the CompTIA Security+ exam. This course focuses on implementing and maintaining network security, including how to implement authentication, remote access, wireless networks and security groups.
Course Prerequisites
Thorough knowledge of TCP/IP; CompTIA Network+ certification, or equivalent knowledge and skills
Course Aim
At the end of this course, students will have gained the knowledge required to pass the CompTIA Security+ exam (SY0-201).

Student manual is provided for on-going reference. There is a final exam upon completion of the course. Participants who receive 75% or higher on their exam will receive a certificate.
