The Academy of Learning – Burnaby Campus is located in Burnaby South, about four blocks east from Metrotown Mall Centre. The College is really easy to find on the intersection of Imperial St. & Kingsway with the closest corner at Imperial and McPherson and it has easy access to Public Transportation. Buses run From/To Vancouver or New Westminster directions (Bus 106). The closest Bus Stop is about 2-minute walking distance and the Skytrain closest stops are Royal Oak & Metrotown stations, about 8~10-minute walking distance.
At this Campus, we have a priority which is to bring the best of our staff members and direct their positive energy towards the wellbeing and success of our students. These statements are the guiding principles for our purposes of improving the productivity of this college and our commitment to our students and our community.
The college hosts monthly Student Appreciation potluck lunches as well as annual events which include a Family Fun Day and Barbecue, held each summer at nearby Central Park, Turkey Dinner in Thanks Giving and before holiday season in December. We also host our Graduation Ceremonies in the spring. Our staff members are dedicated to the success of each of our students and continually work together to develop, research, and enhance support systems for assisting students with their course work.
