A+, NETWORK+ AND MICROSOFT CERTIFICATION PREPARATION
This entry-level program will prepare the candidate for three industry-recognized certifications.
The popular A+ Certification (by CompTIA) is highly recognized for excellence in hardware repair and maintenance, and operating system installation and support.
The CompTIA Network+ certification assures the ability to install and maintain a network. In addition, the candidate has a choice to prepare for either of the two introductory Microsoft certifications – the more recent Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification or the well-known Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification. The MCTS preparation can be for the Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 operating systems.
The MCP preparation can be for the Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 operating systems.
Admission Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent or Mature Student Status and must achieve a grade of 75% or better on our entrance exam. Prospective students will be required to complete an IT assessment of their motivation, aptitude and general fit for such a program.
