Students will learn related terminology and abbreviations, how to take and interpret vital signs, weight and visual acuity, charting, basic filling, assisting the physician, office organization, ordering supplies, the importance of confidentiality, telephone etiquette, listening skills, and acquire confidence with personal and interpersonal skills.
