Pharmacy Principles and Practice - Level 1
This course covers the history of pharmacy and provides an overview of related legal and ethical issues. Students will learn the role of pharmacy technicians, including prescription processing and competency, while using the Relief™ Advanced Pharmacy System software.
In addition, students will learn the uses of over-thecounter (OTC) medications, and the regulations regarding these drugs. Federal and provincial drug schedules, and various alternative medicine therapies, are also explored.
