Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) was established to give information about the hazardous materials a workplace produces, handles, stores, uses or disposes in the facility. The aim of WHMIS is to reduce accidents and health hazards.
