Medical Receptionist Practical Simulation
The objectives of the Medical Receptionist Practical Simulation is to provide students with the opportunity to analyze situations unique to the occupation, make decisions related to those situations, as well as experience the daily duties and responsibilities associated with the occupation.
The course provides students the opportunity to learn and practice basic traditional and computer-related medical office procedures and skills necessary to work in a variety of medical offices.
Course Prerequisite(s)
Introduction to Medical Terminology and Medical Office Procedures, plus Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Database courses at a minimum of Level 1. In addition, you need the ability to use a calculator and a computer with a CD-ROM.
